The GOLDEN Introductory Set for Professional Acrylic Gel Mediums and Molding Pastes offers the opportunity to experiment with a representative sampling of Gel Mediums. Gel Mediums used alone, or blended with acrylic colors can add texture, broaden the working properties and expand the possibilities.
The new A-Z Acrylics Sets from GOLDEN offer artists a self-guided workshop experience in a box! Encouraging trial and exploration, the sets are perfect for artists just starting out with acrylics and longtime users of acrylics looking for a way to recharge their creative energy through a new product or application.
Inspired by the A-Z Acrylic Lecture offered by the GOLDEN Certified Working Artist Program, these sets give artists the opportunity to experience the unique properties of Heavy Body, Fluid Acrylics, OPEN Acrylics, and High Flow Acrylics, as well as a range of Pastes, Gels and Mediums. By following the instruction guide provided in each set, artists can easily execute several exercises while gaining an understanding of the materials and a foundation for translating the experience into their unique creative process. The GOLDEN Acrylic System allows artists to work with all of these materials in concert – the exercises in the set provide hands-on experience in how easily all GOLDEN Acrylics can be used together successfully.

GOLDEN Acrylic Flow Release is an additive used to reduce surface tension of the water in the acrylic emulsion, therefore increasing the slickness and flow of the paint. It is effective for achieving rich stains on a porous surface.
• Health Labeled (HL) Product
• Not for use by children.
Fluorescent Acrylic Colors are intense, brilliant colors, produced from dyes surrounded by a polymer coating. Because fluorescent colors are transparent, the greater intensity is achieved by applying them over bright white surfaces. Fluorescent Colors are not lightfast. For permanence, a topcoat of GOLDEN MSA Varnish with UVLS (UltraViolet Light Stabilizers) is recommended, although varnish and top coats will eliminate the fluorescent "glow" under black light.

GOLDEN Fluorescent Colors are waterborne acrylic paints produced from polymer-coated dyes, which offer incredibly bright colors. It is important for professional artists to realize that Fluorescent pigments ARE NOT LIGHTFAST.
Acrylic Glazing Liquid can be used to create safe, water-based glazes that produce oil-like finishes, or as an acrylic paint extender and medium. Both Gloss and Satin formulas provide enough working time for even the most challenging effects and finishes.
- Sizes: 8 oz, 16 oz, and 32 oz
Designed for modifying the GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics for airbrush/spray application. Blends with minimal effort with the Fluid Acrylics to yield a paint mixture with the proper viscosity for airbrushing. Effectively decreases clogging and tip buildup during spraying, eliminating the largest drawback to airbrushing with acrylics. While designed with the Fluid Acrylics in mind, Airbrush Medium will also reduce the Heavy Body, Matte, High Load, Iridescent/Interference and Fluorescent Acrylics for spray applications. GOLDEN Mediums and Gessos can also be blended with Airbrush Medium for spraying.
GOLDEN Airbrush Transparent Extender is a 100% acrylic binder system that is designed to modify GOLDEN Airbrush Colors for increased transparency and film hardness. Engineered to meet the highest standards of professional airbrush illustrators, Airbrush Transparent Extender possesses excellent spraying properties and is formulated to minimize tip build-up, clogging and surface defects.
Designed to yield a pully, tar-like feel, but in a colorless gel. This gel has an extremely resinous and stringy consistency, which makes it feel very different than other acrylics. Useful for generating fine detailed lines by "dripping" it over surfaces, as it continuously flows from palette knives or other tools. Blends with all GOLDEN Acrylic colors (though Fluids work best) to offer a full range of colors with which to work.

GOLDEN Historical Colors are authentic recreations of paint colors that have been in use for hundreds of years and were considered essential to the working palettes of past masters. As the pigments originally used to produce these colors were found to be unsafe or vulnerable to the effects of light and weather, they had not been offered in a GOLDEN line of pure pigment colors. Recognizing the popularity of these colors within some palettes, GOLDEN has recreated these in a safe, reliable form, meeting the conservation requirements of fine artists. Great pains were taken to ensure the GOLDEN Historical Colors shared the working properties of their predecessors. The result? Contemporary artists can now explore the profoundly distinct qualities of historically significant colors while enjoying the advantages brought about by modern chemistry: lightfastness, safe use and permanence.
