This 30-color assortment provides a versatile palette for drawing, painting, illustration, and mixed-media work. Each pastel has a soft, velvety texture with strong covering power, bright pigmentation, and excellent lightfastness. Artists can use the colors dry for bold, opaque marks or introduce water with a brush to create washes, gradients, glazing, and watercolor-style effects. NEOCOLOR II also supports techniques including scraping, monotype, soaking, ink washes, and solid-color applications.
